As most of my readers (yeah YOU!) know, Phil won the Open Championship. Many non Phil believers and many Phil believers didn’t think he’d have a shot-and boy were they wrong!

The leaders of the tournament, including Tiger, all began making mistakes which soon had Tiger, Westwood and Poulter fans worried. Mickelson‘s game picked up when he birdied the 13th hole of the final round and his stamina stuck around, resulting in four birdies of his last six holes.

Congrats to Phil! Very happy for him and can’t wait to see what he does next!
